kHyal is an award-winning creative director, strategist, designer, writer and marketing consultant. In 2007, she founded fiZz Agency, a boutique marketing and communication design firm. In June of 2015, she became Chief Creative Officer at Metropolitan interactive.
kHyal has held the positions of Creative Director at Microtech International, an innovative manufacturer of Apple Computer peripherals, and Circle.com (now Havas Worldwide) where she developed interactive campaigns for UPS, GAP and BMW. kHyal was co-founder and VP of Marketing for SunStar Interactive, a consumer software publisher, and Blowtorch Studios, an interactive agency and software development company. Before founding fiZz, she spent five years working in educational publishing spearheading digital initiatives for Harcourt and McGraw-Hill. She also served as Interim Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Stamford Hospital. Her diverse background has built high expertise in the high-tech, education, healthcare, consumer products and fashion industries, including sustainable initiatives.
kHyal majored in Mass Communications at Emerson College in addition to studies at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; The Art Institute of Boston; Boston Film and Video Foundation; Loyola Law School and Kodak’s Center for Creative Imaging. And, more recently completed the Sustainable Design Entrepreneur program at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
kHyal has served on the MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City’s Marketing Committee; co-chaired the Fundraising Committee of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Los Angeles; and was an active member of the Connecticut Technology Council’s Vice President of Marketing Forum. She was a juror for the London Interactive Advertising Awards and Westchester Ad Club’s Big W Awards, a judge for Hasbro’s Project Upcycle Design Awards, served as Communications Chair for the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Metro-North Chapter, and is currently on the advisory board of GraphicDesign.com.
Since 2007, kHyal co-founded S0N0 Spaces, PUSH Workshops, PUSH Design Camp and the Fairfield County Adobe Users Group. She designs apparel and accessories under the name kHyal Kouture, and uses the pseudonym “MegaGlam” to showcase her illustration, surface and character design. Her latest projects include Free Range Copy and kHyal + Karl.
kHyal has been a technology junkie since the 80s and is a member of the Women’s Internet History Project. She began her tech career in the high-end audio field with industry pioneer Mark Levinson, founder of Mark Levinson Audio Systems, Cello, Ltd., Red Rose Music and Daniel Hertz SA. During this time she consecutively created interactive artworks and installations including sound, light, animation and video projections. Before her first Mac, kHyal used an Amiga computer to create live MIDI music performances and video animation. She was a member of the Amiga Users Group at Yale University, and active in Silicon Alley in the 90s. Her first blog on kHyal.com featured the emerging technology scene in New York City in 1996.

kHyal founded fiZz in 2007. She is now Chief Creative Officer at Metropolitan interactive.
Tyler is in charge of all things tech — from keeping our network running smoothly — to video editing with Final Cut Pro and animation with Adobe After Effects. He also has a strong design eye and jumps in on projects with his visual expertise across all media. Tyler attended the School of Visual Arts in New York, in addition to training at Noble Desktop and The Type Studio. He also studied Network Security and Network Computing, and was among a select group accepted into the CT Film Industry Training Program, funded by a grant from the Film Division of the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism, where he earned a certificate in motion picture sound production.
No creative studio is complete without pets. Scootie and Squeaks are always on hand to brainstorm creative ideas and have been professional models for some of our clients. #sweet
